Our Story
Russ Sullivan
Founder & Managing Director
Russ brings over two decades of technical expertise, entrepreneurial drive, and strategic vision to the NOCOMI Digital Marketing Group. His journey into the world of technology began at Cal Poly Humboldt, where he earned a BS degree in Computer Science, laying a rock-solid foundation in how technology drives modern organizational success.
Following graduation, Russ excelled as an IT professional in the Silicon Valley and the high-stakes biopharmaceutical industry in Colorado before channeling his expertise into entrepreneurship. Recognizing a vital need for reliable tech infrastructure in the local community, he founded and operated a highly successful IT business in Humboldt County for 15 years. This hands-on experience managing complex networks and business operations sharpened his ability to look under the hood of any business and find digital solutions that actually work.
In 2003, anticipating the massive shift toward the digital economy, Russ founded the NOCOMI Digital Marketing Group. By bridging the gap between deep technical IT knowledge and creative marketing strategy, he has spent over twenty years helping businesses build robust online footprints, optimize their digital workflows, and achieve sustainable growth.
When he isn't helping clients navigate the ever-evolving digital landscape, Russ remains deeply connected to his Northern California roots, always looking for new ways to innovate, mentor, and support local business growth.
